Webb to face 2017 World Series Champs

Logan Webb got himself his first win of the 2020 season in his last outing against the Rockies last week. On the year the Rocklin High School alum is 1-0 in 3 starts with 10 strikeouts in 12 2/3 innings while allowing only 3 earned runs all season. Webb has never faced the Astros before tonight as the Giants are on the 2nd leg of their three team road trip. Webb has made 2 interleague starts this year before his start against the Rangers this season and is 0-0 with 5 strikeouts in 9 2/3 innings.

Former Giants manager Dusty Baker will take on his former team for the first time since 2017 while with the Nationals. Baker managed the Giants for 10 years and was 840-715 and 11-13 in the playoffs which included losing the 2002 World Series to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Baker will send out 2017 All Star Lance McCullers Jr, who has never faced the Giants before. The Tampa Florida native was out of baseball last serawson with a right elbow injury. So far in 2020 the 26 year old right hander is 1-1 in 3 starts with 11 strikeouts and a 9.22 ERA which equates to 14 earned runs against 65 batters faced.
