In 8 career starts at Coors Field, Cueto is 5-2 with a 3.26 ERA including 36 strikeouts, the Giants were 12-7 against the Rockies last season.
Chi Chi Gonzalez will make his season debut today for the first-place Rockies. He is making his 3rd career start against the Giants as the previous two came last year, both losses. He had just 8 strikeouts in 10 innings of work and a 4.50 ERA. The Oral Roberts University alum was 2-6 in 14 games last year which included 12 starts and had a 5.29 ERA with 43 strikeouts. The Rockies are 6-2 and atop the NL West, both losses have come with 1 run deficits, they were outscored by the Giants last year 108-77 including a 19-2 defeat
