Duggar's homer puts Rivercats in 1st place

Steven Duggar is down with the Rivercats to work on his swing to get him back with the MLB club. Duggar has been spent 4 games with Sacramento and is hitting .313 with 1 homer and 1 RBI.

His lone homer came last night in the series finale against the Albuquerque Isotopes and it was all the Rivercats needed to slide into 1st place.

They are now a 1/2 game up on the Fresno Grizzlies with a record of 44-41 after Sam Selmon pitched the 1st inning allowing just a walk and had 2 strikeouts..Enderson Franco came in and pitched 6 scoreless innings and allowed only 5 hits with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk. Jandel Gustave pitched a scoreless inning as Fernando Abad picked up his 10th save on the year to secure the win.
