Cueto looks to join Giants soon

The San Francisco Giants found out how Johnny Cueto pitched last night and it looks like the 2x All Star is ready to join the club. Cueto has been out since July 28th of last year recovering from Tommy John surgery. He made 2 starts with the Giants AAA Sacramento Rivercats and 1 for the A league San Jose Giants. In his 2 starts with Sacramento Cueto pitched to a 0-1 record with a 3.48 ERA totaling 9 strikeouts in 10.1 innings. Last night he pitched 6 shutout innings and allowed only 4 hits with 6 strikeouts and 0 walks but the Rivercats lost 3-0 to El Paso.

Cueto looks to make his season debut next weekend when the club flies to LA.
